My life was very boring. I get up every morning to do the same things all day, then go to sleep. My job was not what I expected it to be and it was not even paying good money. My working hours was too much for me. The workplace was far from my home. I was not learning anything new. I was working very hard but my work was not appreciated by my managers. So, I was not happy or satisfied with my situation.

Over time, I started to have health issues that doctors couldn’t explain. There was nothing physically wrong with me, but I complained of severe body pains and irregular sleep. Finally, my doctor gave me antidepressants, said that my problem is not physical. It is psychological.

I started asking myself what is wrong. I found out that I am feeling a lot of stress and disappointment that is making me depressed. I thought to myself “this needs to change immediately”.

To get out of my depression, I started to search for another career. A career that will keep me excited every day but not exhausted mentally and physically and will pay good money.

I started reading about digital marketing. I tried self-learning but did not really understand what it means to become a digital marketer until I applied for the Digital marketing nano degree by Udacity. It has helped a lot of people launch their careers and become professionals.
